.Kerryann Torres is a self-taught artist who recently rekindled her childhood love of painting. She has found inspiration in places that she has lived including Hawaii, California, Arizona, England, South Africa, Puerto Rico and now Georgia. She has a deep love and respect for animals and nature; and believes that having a connection to animals increases our humanity. Kerryann paints on canvas or metal. Using a rag drenched in oil paint and turpentine, she creates the outline and base layer of the animal and then, with brushes, she details out the hair and faces. Her goal is to create art that makes people smile and promote racial equality and wildlife conservation.
